Lionel Messi didn't have the easiest start to life. He was born at a homeless encampment alongside his brave mother and siblings. For the first few months of his life, every single day was a battle just to find food and survive. But everything changed when the amazing team at Perris Strays stepped in. They rescued him, ensured he was protected, and brought him to us for safety.
Today, Lionel Messi and his sister, Bellatrix, are thriving in their foster home. They are incredibly lucky to have made it out alive, and Messi is making the absolute most of his second chance at life!
