About Bear

Looking for a loyal, handsome companion with a big heart? Meet Bear! At 1.5 years old and 75 pounds, this gentle giant is the ultimate mix of sweet and smart. Hes looking for a dedicated home that can offer him the love, routine, and guidance he needs to thrive.

Bear is a super loyal pup who loves his people deeply. Hes already got some fantastic foundation manners under his belt:

House & Crate Trained: Fully potty trained and comfortable in his crate.

Smart Cookie: Knows sit, wait, and takes treats with the gentlest "so soft" mouth! Hes currently working on mastering his "down."

Leash Trained: Responds great to training tools like a prong collar for structured walks.

Home & Social Preferences

Cats: Bear grew up in a home with cats! While the resident kitties mostly keep their space, he is accustomed to living alongside feline friends.

Other Dogs: Bear hasn't had much dog-to-dog socialization yet, so slow, structured introductions or being your one-and-only dog would suit him best.

Children: He hasn't spent time around kids, so a home with older teens or adults who understand his size and training needs is ideal.

Energy & Ideal Match

Bear has classic young Shepherd energy—hes active, intelligent, and eager to please! Hell do best with an adoptive family that provides daily exercise, consistent structure, and ongoing training to help him build confidence.

(Note: Bear has some mild, mild skin allergies that his caretakers are currently managing with a recent diet change to help clear up his sensitive skin.)
