Mimi hasn't had the easiest start in life. When she was rescued from the shelter at approx. 8 years old, she was severely matted and neglected, requiring a full shave and dental care that left her missing a few teeth. Shortly after, she faced a tough battle with kennel cough that progressed to pneumonia, requiring hospitalization. But true to her resilient spirit, this little spitfire fought her way through and is now well on the mend, growing happier, stronger, and healthier with each passing day.
Don’t let her petite size fool you—Mimi is no push-over! She is fiercely loyal and guards her favorite humans as if she were a 100-pound guard dog. Beneath her protective, fiery personality is a sweet soul who loves nothing more than curling up next to her person for cozy lap cuddles.
